Because he worked late last night, Wing was able to meet me for breakfast today. He took me to Singapore's Chinatown. The hawker center there was pretty large and had stands on 2 floors. Many were already open even though the foods they served were more for lunch than breakfast. I couldn't find anything breakfast like, so I went for a chicken noodle dish that looked similar to the Hainanese chicken rice. This complex wasn't as full service as the Newton one and not nearly as clean. I probably wouldn't have picked to place if I was alone, so it was good to have a local take me there. I would have missed out if not for Wing.
