On the only nice day of the week, we headed out to Syosset for Wesley's 2nd Birthday at Cindy & Wil's house. There was a ton of traffic since everyone was headed to the beach to take advantage of the sunny day while they could. We arrived a little late, but were among the first of the guests. Wesley was still napping, which worked out well because we had lunch first and then plenty of time to play around with him after he got up.

Wesley's 2nd Birthday
On the only nice day of the week, we headed out to Syosset for Wesley's 2nd Birthday at Cindy & Wil's house. There was a ton of traffic since everyone was headed to the beach to take advantage of the sunny day while they could. We arrived a little late, but were among the first of the guests. Wesley was still napping, which worked out well because we had lunch first and then plenty of time to play around with him after he got up.

I agree with Kerwin that it was a perfect day for Wesley’s birthday party. Since it was a beautiful sunny day, there was a huge turnout. Besides the delicious buffet, all of Wesley’s young friends kept us entertained for hours. Most of the toddlers played with his toy kitchen, cars and the numerous toy collections. I especially like watching the children on the mini “Long Island” train rides operated by manpower. All passengers and train engineers were having a great time!!!
Since most of us have healthy appetites, the older folks, like me, sat in the “senior” living room to watch TV and relax (but the men took naps to get ready for the big drive home.)
It was grand seeing old acquaintance again and I look forward to attending Wesley’s 3rd birthday party along with his new sibling.
