About NY Local

In this category, my goal is promote NYC restaurants, stores and events. I'm going to concentrate mostly in the Flushing, Queens area since there's already a ton of information out there about Manhattan. For part of my childhood, I grew up with friends in Flushing and have lived there for about 6 years. I think it has some of the best restaurants in the world, yet it doesn't appear in many travel guides, not even as a side trip from Manhattan.
