Broadway Chinese Cuisine
Location: 83-17 Broadway, Elmhurst, NY 11373
Cuisine: Chinese
Prices: $15/person
Credit Cards: All major
Food: 5
Service: 9
Value: 6
Environment: 7
Frequency: Uncommon
This is supposedly one of the best Chinese restaurants in Elmhurst, but I wasn't impressed by the food. It was OK, but maybe it's just because I eat in Flushing's Chinatown all the time. I guess it could be the choice of dishes as well. For more details, check out the comments on each image. On the plus side, the service was great and the place was clean.

Auntie Remy & Uncle Charlie's Vacation
Auntie Remy and Uncle Charlie came over from the Philippines to visit for a few weeks this Spring. They were actually here over a week ago, but went with my parents and some friends on a group vacation to Cancun. I took this week off to spend time with them while they're in NY.The following album covers a home dinner and another one in Elmhurst the next day. Click here to see photos.

DCUO: Ace Chemicals T4
What would a comic book theme be without a crossover? Here's a playthrough of the Ace Chemicals T4 challenge, starring Shadowdragon from the world of Krynn. He teams up with Ratchet from Transformers and Steel from DC Comics.
Note: It's not really Ratchet. I just think the Steelworks robots look like Transformers and the medical one is red and white, but he's much smaller than the real Ratchet!

Tiamat's "O"
Here's my contribution to Jeff's question. This is a short video of my DC Universe Online supervillain, Tiamat, casting Circle of Protection in the night sky of South Gotham. I then angled the camera so that it would form a high contrast "O."
The ability is actually called Circle of Destiny. In DPS stance, it becomes Circle of Destruction, causing damage over time for enemies inside the runes. In healer stance (as seen above), it's Circle of Protection, healing allies over time. As DPS, I'll usually cast this immediately at the beginning of the battle and clip it with 2 more attacks. As a healer, I wait a few seconds so that I'm not healing full health teammates.

I haven't been on Picasa for a long time and they've since redesigned it. It doesn't look like they have a slideshow embed anymore, so here's the link to the album...

Jeff's Question / Charlotte's Answer
Now that it's over, it's safe to post about this. Jeff had a whole bunch of us create stop motion animations or videos. Each clip was a letter spelling out, "Charlotte Li Chua, will you marry me." This was played at a family gathering under the disguise of a multi-month birthday party. I shot facing the audience so I could get the reaction. I'll post the message video when Jeff uploads it.
Congratulations to Jeff and Charlotte!

DCUO: Bases Tour
This is a detailed tour of some of the Home Turf DLC lair themes, including dive, deco, Gothic, Eastern and ancient. I've been caught up with collecting furniture items more so than improving my gear! But I'm not the only one. I think this DLC is probably the one that changed the in-game culture the most. It's given life to old content and the trade market.

DCUO: St. Patrick's Day
This is a walkthrough of the St. Patrick's Day seasonal event's daily tasks featured in DCUO Update 24. This includes the collection of 33 coins from the pots of gold in Metropolis, the seasonal race and Mr. Myxzptlk's favorite landmarks. I'll also cover the feats involved and some of the seasonal items.

DCUO: Bottleneck Tasks
For the most part, this game is pretty exciting from level 1-30. It doesn't have the grind that's characteristic of many MMORPGs. There are just 2 tasks I feel could use an adjustment though. Watch this video and see if you've come across this on your adventures as well.
